Section 36 Consent Variation - Section 36 Consent extension of the European Offshore Wind Deployment Center - Aberdeen Bay

Section 36 consent granted on 26 March 2013 to Aberdeen Offshore Wind Farm Limited ("AOWFL") to construct and operate the European Offshore Wind Deployment Center ("EOWDC") electricity generating station located approximately 2km east of Blackdog, off the coast of Aberdeenshire in Aberdeen Bay.

On 11 April 2019, AOWFL submitted an application to the Scottish Ministers for the variation of the existing section 36 consent to extend it from 22 to 25 years, in order to align with the design life of the wind farm assets.
