Marine Scotland is a partner in the Marine Environmental Data Information Network (MEDIN). The MEDIN Fisheries Data Archive Centre for Fish and Shellfish, Fisheries, Aquaculture and related samples (FishDAC) currently comprises data respositories for Scotland (Marine Scotland) and England & Wales (CEFAS), with an intent subsequently to include relevant data holdings from Northern Ireland.

The main access and location of FishDAC data is through the MEDIN Data Discovery Portal, where you can search all Marine Environmental Data contributed by Data Archive Centres (seabed geology, geophysics, flora and fauna, habitats, oceanography, bathymetry, meteorology, and fisheries).
